Carers in the Penwith area.
Carers Support Worker Project (Penwith)
Carers look after family, partners or friends who are in
need of help because they are frail or have impaired physical or mental
health.
The care they provide is unpaid.
Carers' lives can be significantly affected by their caring role, both
emotionally and socially. Carers care in detriment to their own health
and should be given opportunities and choices to maintain their own well
being and sustain their caring role.
Carers Support Workers provide one to
one information and support and aim to help carers to achieve their own well
being.
They can put carers in touch with local groups and the carers'
forums and refer and liaise with appropriate health and social care support.

Parentline Plus
The biggest independent provider of parenting support in the country, is a national charity that works for and with parents. We know that parents want to do the best they can for their children, but we also know that family life can sometimes be challenging and difficult. After all, there is no one right way to parent. We encourage parents to see that asking for help is a sign of strength, offer practical solutions and suggest ways to manage their particular situations and difficulties.
