Extended schools is an exciting Government Initiative which links a range of services including: Childcare, Adult education, Parenting Support Programs, Community based health & social care, Multi-agency behaviour support teamsand after school activities. The Penwith Extended Schools programme is now in its second year. During the first year all schools rece ived funding which enabled the delivery of a fantastic range of services and activities such as:Breakfast Clubs, Drama, Sport, Music and healthy eating activities........................

Small Grant Scheme
In order to raise the profile of extended schools within the wider community and to reach those young people & families who might not participate in activities on school sites a small pot of money has been set aside for a small grant scheme.
Community/voluntary organisations can bid in for up to £500 to deliver projects which meet strands 1, 2 & 3 of the core offer.
